The world feels noisy — politics, the environment, the news cycle, the constant hum of doing. Many of us begin the new year already racing.
But what if this year began differently — not with more effort, but with more awareness?

This three-week course — seven sessions (four 90-minute and three 60-minute gatherings) —invites a deliberate pause from the rush of everyday life.

It is designed to help us reconnect with what matters most: making time, space, and community we rarely give ourselves.

Through time-tested practices and simple teachings, we rediscover a steadier, kinder version of ourselves — one nourished by knowledge, mindfulness, and connection.

You will explore and practice the inner conditions for clarity, compassion, and genuine rest — the kind that doesn’t depend on external calm.

Topics include:

  • Mindfulness of the Body — using breath and sensation as anchors when life feels unsteady.

  • Recognizing Feeling Tones — noticing the first spark of pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral before it becomes a storm.

  • Mindfulness of Emotions — learning to hold difficult feelings with warmth instead of resistance.

  • Mindfulness of Thoughts — observing the mind’s stories without being swept away.

  • Cultivating Positive Neuroplasticity — training the brain toward joy, gratitude, and connection.

  • Foundational Brain Science — understanding how awareness reshapes the nervous system.

  • The Actual Time to Practice — guided meditations, journaling, and reflection woven into every session.

By the end of this course, you’ll have:

  • A toolkit for steadying yourself when the world feels turbulent.

  • A deeper connection to your body’s intelligence.

  • Practical ways to bring mindfulness into daily routines — from conversations to commutes.

  • A renewed sense of calm confidence in meeting life as it is.

You don’t need prior experience — only curiosity and the sense that something in you is ready to reset.

As we begin 2026, give yourself the gift of presence: a way to strengthen your attention, soothe your nervous system, and reconnect with what truly matters.
A mindful start to a year that calls for calm hearts and clear minds.
